Action for Development (AfD), en collaboration avec l'Organisation afghane des droits de l'homme (AHRO) et Action contre la faim (ACF) ont organis\u00e9 une table ronde sur la question de la malnutrition chronique (retard de croissance) en Afghanistan. Selon l'UNICEF, l'Afghanistan a le taux le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de retard de croissance chez les enfants de moins de cinq ans (41 pour cent). La conf\u00e9rence s'est tenue au sein du Mouvement SUN mondial et dans le cadre de la plate-forme nationale de l'Alliance de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile afghane pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et la nutrition.<\/p>\n

Les causes de la malnutrition chronique, ses impacts \u00e9conomiques et ses cons\u00e9quences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 largement d\u00e9battus. Vers la fin de la table ronde, un plan de lobby\/plaidoyer a \u00e9t\u00e9 envisag\u00e9 afin de lutter contre la malnutrition chronique \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux en Afghanistan.\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kabul, 5 March 2020 Action for Development (AfD), together with the Afghanistan Human Rights Organization (AHRO) and Action Against Hunger (ACF) conducted a round table discussion on the issue of chronic malnutrition (stunting) in Afghanistan. According to UNICEF, Afghanistan has the highest rate of stunting in children under the age of five (41 percent).\u00a0 The conference was held within the global SUN Movement and as part of the national platform of the Afghanistan Civil Society Alliance for food security and nutrition. The causes of chronic malnutrition, its economic impacts and consequences were discussed extensively.
